Palliative Care

Our palliative care service at our care home in Croydon has been created to support individuals who are in their final stages of life. This support is also provided to their friends and families during this emotionally tough time.

We are extremely proud to help those in our local area and our team of industry professionals ensure our residents receiving palliative care have the most dignified, comfortable, and supported stay possible.

What is Palliative Care?

Palliative care, commonly known as end-of-life care, is provided to individuals who have a terminal illness or who are in the final weeks, months, or years of their life. These illnesses can range from natural decline to more complex terminal conditions.

The primary focus of palliative care is to prioritise comfort for those receiving it. The main objective is to alleviate their pain and other symptoms, uphold their dignity, and assist them in fulfilling their wishes.

Furthermore, palliative care also extends support to the loved ones of those receiving it. This enables them to spend quality time together and provides the necessary assistance to navigate through this challenging period.
