Steps To Success Award

Haling Park Care Home are thrilled to share that we have been awarded with the "Steps to Success" award by St Christophers, which is adapted from the NHS end-of-life care programme.

We have been awarded this certificate for achieving high-quality end-of-life care in our South Croyden care home. We're really proud of this award, due to the efforts we put into our palliative care. The primary focus of our palliative care is to prioritise comfort for those receiving it. Alleviating their pain and other symptoms, upholding their dignity, and assisting them in fulfilling their wishes.

By taking part in this process, we have gained so much additional knowledge which can help support our dedicated staff, in providing the highest quality palliative care. Not only has this programme helped us to support those in need of care, but it also positions us better to support residents families who are facing problems associated with life-limiting illnesses, and supporting them in the process.
