The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebrations

In honour of her her majesty the Queen's Platinum Jubilee, Haling Park celebrated with a four day event at the home.

So much work went into preparing for the jubilee celebrations and our residents were actively involved in making decorations for this special occasion.

The home decorated was with an array of red white and blue colours throughout. The residents enjoyed a fun-filled four days with Magic by Matthew followed by a punch & Judy show outside.

We had some wonderful entertainment by Anna And Claire who put on a 1940s show for the residents.

Our street party was held indoors due to our beautiful British weather but that didn’t stop the residents from celebrating like true royalty.

To end our jubilee celebrations the residents had a Tea party, and the chefs put on an amazing spread of food followed by cake of course.
