A Fantastic Musical Thursday & Cake Decorating

There was a wonderful atmosphere at Haling Park Care Home today as residents enjoyed a fun-filled Thursday packed with music and creativity.

We were lucky enough to welcome not one, but two fantastic singers, Kate and Chase, who kept everyone entertained throughout the day. Residents loved singing along to well-known songs, many were clapping along and dancing in their seats. It was lovely to see so many smiles throughout our cool and breezy lounge on this lovely summer's day.

While the performances were in full swing, some of our residents also enjoyed spending time at baking club. The group got creative by decorating cupcakes with a World Cup and Wimbledon theme, adding colourful icing and decorations to make each one unique. It was a relaxing and enjoyable activity that gave everyone the chance to chat, have fun, and show off their creative side.

From live entertainment to hands-on baking, it was a day that brought people together and gave everyone something to enjoy. Seeing residents sharing happy moments, whether through music or baking, is what makes days like these so special at Haling Park Care Home in Croydon.
